Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

    $ claude plugin install fast-jev-output --marketplace tamaratran/jev-pruner

Already in a session? Type this at the Claude Code prompt:

What does fast-jev-output do?

  • Trims Bash output over 10,000 estimated tokens before it reaches the main model
  • TypeSafe's Jev model scores output chunks and dropped runs become [N lines omitted] markers
  • Keeps errors, diagnostics, test totals, JSON, diffs, source code and docs untouched
  • Saves the full output under .claude/fast-jev-output/ so Claude can read it later
  • A toast reports the reduction when output is pruned

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • TypeSafe API key (TYPESAFE_API_KEY); Jev requests incur TypeSafe usage

How do you uninstall fast-jev-output?

$ claude plugin uninstall fast-jev-output

To switch it off without removing it, use claude plugin disable with the same name.
