Installation

  1. 1. Clone the repository

    $ git clone https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code-playground.git

  2. 2. Install from the marketplace inside the clone

    $ claude plugin install token-weather --marketplace ./claude-code-playground/claude-code/mods

This mod lives in a repository of several mods, so it installs from your clone; moving or deleting the clone stops it loading. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, in a terminal. Full install guide

What does token-weather do?

  • Band above the prompt shows context window use as a weather icon and word, from Clear to Compact soon
  • Shows the percentage used and tokens used out of the window
  • Block-character chart of context use over the last 12 turns
  • Shows how many tokens the last turn added, updated after each turn

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)

How do you uninstall token-weather?

$ claude plugin uninstall token-weather
