Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

    $ claude plugin install context-view --marketplace kongyo2/context-view

What does context-view do?

  • Meter row above the prompt: percent used, tokens over the window, tokens until auto-compact
  • Updates after every request of a running turn and after /clear, /compact, model switches and /autocompact
  • Turns to warning and error colors as auto-compact approaches
  • /context-view toggles the row; /context-view show or hide sets it
  • Optional awareness setting tells Claude its context figures after prompts and tool results
