Installation

  1. 1. Clone the repository

    $ git clone https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code-playground.git

  2. 2. Install from the marketplace inside the clone

    $ claude plugin install blast-radius --marketplace ./claude-code-playground/claude-code/mods

This mod lives in a repository of several mods, so it installs from your clone; moving or deleting the clone stops it loading. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, in a terminal. Full install guide

What does blast-radius do?

  • Holds risky Bash commands (rm -rf, git reset --hard, git clean, force push, migrations) before they run
  • Opens a pane listing the files, commits or migrations the command would affect, with Proceed and Cancel
  • Press 1 to proceed or 2 to cancel; Cancel tells Claude the command was refused and why
  • Narrow terminals get the report in the band above the prompt instead of a pane
  • Unanswered holds are refused after 10 minutes, and Esc refuses the command

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • bash, git, find and du on your PATH
  • For migrations, the project's own migration tool
  • A terminal about 144 columns wide for the side pane

How do you uninstall blast-radius?

$ claude plugin uninstall blast-radius

To switch it off without removing it, use claude plugin disable with the same name.
