Installation

  1. 1. Clone the repository

    $ git clone https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code-playground.git

  2. 2. Install from the marketplace inside the clone

    $ claude plugin install replay-theater --marketplace ./claude-code-playground/claude-code/mods

This mod lives in a repository of several mods, so it installs from your clone; moving or deleting the clone stops it loading. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, in a terminal. Full install guide

What does replay-theater do?

  • Records each Edit, Write and MultiEdit Claude makes during a turn, without blocking or changing them
  • After the turn, a hint above the prompt shows the edit count with a Replay button
  • /replay opens a pane that steps through edits one diff at a time, with added and removed line counts
  • Prev, Next and Close buttons, or keys n, p and c, move through the steps

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)

How do you uninstall replay-theater?

$ claude plugin uninstall replay-theater

To switch it off without removing it, use claude plugin disable with the same name.
