Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

What does noctis do?

  • Pauses at 92% of the 5-hour window and 97% of the weekly window by default, after writing a checkpoint
  • Waits out short resets in the turn; relaunches claude --resume via Task Scheduler, launchd or systemd for longer ones
  • /noctis:start <file> works through the jobs in a file; /noctis:stop, /noctis:pause and /noctis:resume control it
  • Compacts between turns as the context nears your chosen compaction point
  • Status line with both usage windows and reset times; caps Agent calls at 20 per session and 12 per hour

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • Claude Pro or Max plan for the limit guard
  • Windows, macOS or Linux
  • Setup switches Claude Code to auto permission mode unless run with --permissions keep
