Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

    $ claude plugin install pixelband --marketplace furqan-khan07/pixelband

What does pixelband do?

  • Shows pixel art from your own image or an animated scene in a band above the prompt
  • Scenes react to Claude: e.g. rain gets heavier while it works and lightning strikes when it finishes
  • /pixelband opens a menu to pick a scene or image and set style, size and crop
  • Retro styles gameboy, pico8, mono and sepia; animated GIFs loop; images can be set per project
  • While Claude works the band shrinks to a 3-row strip by default, or can hide or stay full size

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • macOS sips or ImageMagick on Linux for non-PNG images

How do you uninstall pixelband?

$ claude plugin uninstall pixelband

To switch it off without removing it, use claude plugin disable with the same name.
