Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

What does cc-side do?

  • /side opens a side chat, /side <question> opens it and asks right away
  • Starts from a snapshot of the main chat; /refresh catches up without losing the side conversation
  • Read-only by default; /edit on lets Claude edit files, with edits shown as diffs
  • /insert puts the last reply into the main chat's input box; /copy copies it
  • /model and /effort change the model or effort for the side chat only

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • Node.js 18+ or Bun
  • Terminal at least 110 columns wide
  • Fullscreen view (/tui fullscreen)

How do you uninstall cc-side?
