What does catch-me-up do?

  • Pane summarizes why the session started, what was done, results, current state and what needs you
  • Updates with Haiku after each main-conversation turn that used a tool, including git status, diff stat and recent log
  • Refresh (r) folds in new messages; Rebuild (b) re-summarizes the session from the start
  • Summaries persist across restarts and /resume, keeping the 100 most recent sessions
  • /catch-me-up opens the pane at any width

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • Terminal at least 144 columns wide for the pane to open by itself (otherwise run /catch-me-up)
