Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

What does simple-english do?

  • Blocks a Write or Edit with a hard rule violation and returns line, column, rule ID and a suggested correction
  • Blocks git commit messages with hard violations, and commits without a static -m message
  • Checks each finished reply and feeds hard violations back on the next prompt
  • /ase on, off, status, strict and explain; strict mode holds a reply until it passes, with up to two rewrites
