Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

    $ claude plugin install rule-fairy --marketplace Cyrik/rule-fairy

What does rule-fairy do?

  • Reads rules from .cursor/rules/**/*.mdc (or configured directories) and injects alwaysApply and keyword-matched rules with the prompt
  • Delivers rules whose globs match a file with the result of an Edit, Write, MultiEdit, NotebookEdit or MCP edit
  • After Bash commands, asks git which files changed and injects the matching rules
  • Heading-level doc imports (@doc/guide.md#section) and re-injection after /compact
  • /rule-fairy:review and /rule-fairy:review-plan check a diff or plan against the applicable rules

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • Babashka (bb) on PATH
  • GitHub CLI (gh), logged in, for reviewing pull requests
