Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

What does drawer do?

  • Replaces a ```dot or graphviz fence with the rendered graph as the reply streams
  • Pictures in kitty or ghostty, box drawing in other terminals; DRAWER_RENDER forces auto, pixels or cells
  • Hooks module redraws graphs in fork and subagent views, --resume sessions and background jobs, and on width changes
  • Uses Claude Code's theme colors, or a DOT theme file set with DRAWER_THEME
  • drawer -doctor reports what the current terminal gets and why

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • Linux or macOS
  • kitty or ghostty for picture rendering (other terminals get box drawing)
