Installation

  1. Install from your shell (answer y to add the marketplace)

    $ claude plugin install cairn --marketplace jmgirard/cairn

What does cairn do?

  • Band above the prompt shows the milestone in flight with a plan/implement/review track and percent
  • /cairn-pane opens a pane listing in-progress, review and blocked milestones with their PRs and PR states
  • /cairn-init scaffolds the cairn/ tracking folder or migrates an older tracking system
  • /milestone reports where things stand, or triages a GitHub issue by number
  • Hooks block merges without approval and force-pushes to the default branch

What do you need?

  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (terminal)
  • GitHub CLI (gh) for PR states
